About Morehouse College

Morehouse is a historically Black college for men. Students build on a liberal arts core with strengths in the social sciences, business, the sciences, and the arts. Mentoring is personal, with writing and research woven into classes. The campus features a chapel, library, labs, a rec center, and services for advising, tutoring, health, and careers.

It's brotherhood with purpose. Convocations and service traditions set the tone, while clubs, Greek life, debate, music, and intramurals keep things moving. And through the Atlanta University Center consortium, students share classes and resources, and internships across Atlanta's business, media, nonprofit, and civic scenes build experience. The West End and the city offer museums, parks, film sets, and community ties. Notable alumni include Martin Luther King Jr., Spike Lee, and Samuel L. Jackson.
